Appearance: Taiga, throughout most of his life, has had long jet black hair and onyx eyes. A recurring theme in Taiga's appearance is that he is considered quite handsome by many girls near his age, including some of the female Taki 12. When he was young, Taiga wore a pair of blue ninja sandals and a pair of gray shorts with a blue shirt. The blue shirt had a large Uchiha Clan crest on the back middle of the shirt. Taiga also wore this outfit while he was in the academy, only he wore an orange shirt instead of a blue one, and, when he was promoted to genin, he discarded that for a green one that still bared the clan symbol on the back of it. When he was promoted to a chūnin, he adopted a pair of dark gray shorts with a black t-shirt with fishnet sleeves. He wore a white and blue jacket over this with the Uchiha Clan crest on the back of it and a pair of black hand guards.

As a jōnin, Taiga wore a dark gray pair of pants with a matching pair of dark gray ninja sandals and fishnet ankle coverings. He wore a dark gray T-shirt with the Uchiha crest on the back of the shirt with two fishnet sleeves over his elbows. When Taiga graduated from the academy and became an official genin, he wore a typical Konohagakure blue headband on his left arm. After becoming a chūnin, he still wore his headband on his left arm, but when he was promoted to jōnin rank, he wore his headband on his arm instead. After returning to the village upon completion of his training, he has been found to have a headband attached to the dark gray belt around his waist.

Currently, since returning to the village, Taiga hair has grown slightly in length and has died a few of the tips on the right side of his head light blue. He has also changed his outfit and has switched to an outfit that is more functional for travel and is better suited for battle. He wears a pair of dark gray, toe-less ninja sandals that have metal pieces on the top of the feet which are wrapped with straps and a pair of black pants tucked into these shoes. He has a standard weapon holster strapped to his right leg and he wears a pair of black fingerless gloves that extend to his wrist. Around his waist, he wears a dark gray belt which has three weapon pouches attached to it along the base of his back and and a pouch in the front; these store a plethora of medicine and tools. He also wears a green vest with a pair of attached, black sleeves which he keeps rolled up to above his elbow. Underneath this vest, he wears a fishnet shirt and he also bandages his wrists and right below his elbow.

Personality: When Taiga was in the academy, he tried to be as reserved as possible, since so many people looked up to him, but he was only a kid and this was not usually the case. As a result, he was friends with most of the class, the “Taki 12” as they came to be nicknamed, but he always felt particular close to Ryuu. The two easily became best friends and often had a very competitive relationship as the two boys were child prodigies in regards to their full potential. When Taiga was around his brother or any of his friends, he would become much more goofier and would always try to get their attention with goofy antics. Regardless of this, he was still well known throughout the village and was admired as a role model by many. For some unknown reason, Taiga had a strange obsession with power and would train for days without food or rest when attempting to learn new techniques.

As Taiga began to age, he became more and more mature with each respective year and started to become more open when he was around other people. This was mostly caused in part by the close bonds that he shared with his brother, Renga, and his childhood friends, the Taki 12. Taiga and his friends were very close with one another and spent almost all of their free time training or relaxing with each other. Renga would also sometimes take Taiga and his friends out as a treat for things like completing successful missions. This strong bond with his brother and his genin teammates is the reason why their deaths were so hard on Taiga; he was heartbroken and immediately became severely depressed and withdrawn upon his death. He would not leave his apartment for days at a time and would often ignore mission assignments, even if they came directly from the village leader, Hotaka Shinju.

He remained this way until Ryuu gave him a stern yet heartfelt speech about how his brother would not want to see him in his depressive state. After that, Taiga returned back to his normal self and, if anything, became more open around other people than he was before. Since losing his brother and returning to the village, not much about Taiga has changed. He is still a very nice and polite person, contrary to his rogue status, and often refers to people he is unfamiliar with as “Sir”, “Ma'am”, or something comparable. He is also particularly polite to women and is often quick to jump to their rescue; he is often referred to as having a “womanizer” personality because of his strong interest in woman. In battle, he will often commend an opponent's techniques, abilities, and styles to such a degree that his opponents think that he is mocking them. He also has a strong sense of duty and is often the first to defend innocent people and his friends, showing that he has a strong moral compass. Altogether, Taiga is generally in a good mood and never gets angry unless someone mentions the village of Kusagakure, as the ninja who killed his brother and friends allegedly originated from there. There are instances, however, when Taiga becomes completely cold and will ruthlessly cut down opponents without remorse, similar to both Sasuke Uchiha and Ryuu Uzumaki. These often occur when he is in battle and during these times, he will have a much more stoic look on his face.

History: Taiga was born in the village of Konohagakure five years before the Fourth Shinobi World War. He was not raised by his mother or father, who both became missing-nin shortly after his birth; he was instead raised by his brother, Renga Uchiha. Due to the fact that Renga took full parental responsibility, Taiga started to look up to his older brother as a type of father figure rather than his actual brother. His brother taught Taiga many different skills, including high level lightning techniques, before he even officially joined the academy. While he was in the academy, Taiga had many friends, but he always seemed closest to Ryuu Uzumaki.

He was always a model student for the rest of the class and often found it hard to not be noticed since he had so much natural talent. Taiga attained the highest grades very easily, making him very popular with teachers and students alike; female students liked him for his looks and male students liked him for his skills. Taiga remained rather indifferent to this however, and always sought more power, usually by training with his brother who would teach him new techniques. Many years later Taiga and Ryuu were both genin in the same squad (squad 3) their sensei Tobimaru had taken them one a top secret mission together one specially permitted by the Hokage himself. During the mission Taiga activated his sharingan fighting to defend his best friend and sensei, but he was still not strong enough to protect his sensei from the onslaught of Kusagakure ninja. He managed to escape with Ryuu intact but his arm was broken in the process Ryuu was injured too bad to carry back to the village.

Ryuu was gasping to breath as blood flowed from his mouth Taiga let tears flow from his eyes as they spun changing into red eyes holding not one but two tomoe as he slammed his palm into the throat of Ryuu. He returned to the village alone meeting his brother first telling him of the events, three days had passed since Taiga had given his full report and he was called to the Kage office. He was then given the new title of Chunin in which he did not feel he deserved. Renga and Taiga left on a journey from the village that was permitted by the Hokage on this adventure Taiga unlocked his third Tomoe, but with much training he finally achieved it during an intense sparring match with Renga who beat him to a pulp during the battle. While traveling home Taiga and Renga were jumped by a large amount of Kusagakure ninja during a rest, Taiga and Renga battled for nearly three days one end living on barely enough sleep for life. By the third day Taiga and Renga battled to the end finishing the battle or so they thought one ninja had survived and struck Renga from behind decapitating him instantly, but Taiga moved quickly keeping his eyes on the enemy with the site of his dead brother Taiga awakened Mangekyou Sharingan and ripped the sole surviving Kusagakure ninja to shreds leaving him a puddle of flesh and blood.

Taiga carried his dead brother 300,000 miles to Konohagakure to be buried properly in the Konohagakure cemetery the village Renga had always loved, Taiga was elected to move up directly to the rank of Jounin his new found hate and loss had changed him though he was no longer a cheerful boy but a angry, cold, ruthless, and careless man.
